Goldfrapp release WE ARE GLITTER - Supernature remixes
For US Release October 17.

Riding high on the success of their third album Supernature, red-hot GOLDFRAPP – Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory – have a new offering for U.S. fans only with WE ARE GLITTER. We Are Glitter is a collection of the best remixes of tracks from Goldfrapp’s critically acclaimed Supernature. Adventurous and risk-taking, We Are Glitter celebrates and re-imagines Goldfrapp and Supernature with each track selected by the band.

The album features work from white-hot remixers The Flaming Lips, DFA, C2 (aka Carl Craig), Benny Benassi, Ewan Pearson, François K, Alan Braxe & Fred Falke and many more, most of which have not been previously available commercially. We Are Glitter's highlights include alluring remixes of such songs as “Number 1” and “Ooh La La,”. We Are Glitter also contains the special bonus track “Strict Machine (We Are Glitter mix),” a song from their second studio album Black Cherry, remixed by Goldfrapp themselves. This new version of “Strict Machine” also appears on the soundtrack for the upcoming feature film Miami Vice and the original album version has just been licensed for use in the new Verizon TV advertising campaign which launched July 25.

Goldfrapp, an electrifying concert attraction, also received attention for their performances of “Ooh La La” on the Late Show With Letterman and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno earlier this year. Supernature, released March 7 2006, is an unbeatable glam/pop/electronic/dance hybrid that was hailed by Blender (four stars), Time (“5 Great Albums” page, 3/27/06) Rolling Stone (“"Toxic and delicious, Supernature will make you do bad things--and like it, 3/6/06) and England’s NME (“the best pop album of 2005”).

NEW SINGLE “BELIEVER” OUT SEPTEMBER 7th

“The band has returned full-force to the expansive synth work
that made them underground darlings.” - Rolling Stone

“Who knew late-‘70’s/early ‘80’s synth-pop could be so perfectly compact,
so life-affirming and seemingly effortless?” – Mother Jones

August 31, 2010 – New York, NY – Goldfrapp announces the release of Goldfrapp Pinball, a brand new iPhone App.

Goldfrapp Pinball is a 3D pinball game, which allows you to remix Goldfrapp’s music as you play. Featuring samples from Goldfrapp's album Head First, a tap of the finger on the iPhone screen powers the ball and sets its path through an imaginary urban environment with towering skyscrapers. As the ball collides with objects different sound samples are triggered, creating a unique remix every time a game is played. You can influence the direction of the ball by tilting the phone and if you're really skilled you can travel on the lightning bolt to earn bonus points. Occasionally clouds float across the screen obscuring the ball and making game-play a little bit harder… but you can clear the clouds with a quick shake of the phone. A global leader board allows you to match your score with other players around the world. The App was created by Goldfrapp and Corporation Pop.

The band releases their brand new single “Believer” on September 7th through Mute. “Believer” is the latest single to be taken from Head First following the fantastic singles “Rocket” and “Alive”. ‘Believer” comes with a fabulous remix package including mixes by Vince Clarke, Subway, Joris Voorn and Davide Rossi.

Head First is Goldfrapp's most powerful trip to date, a speedy rush of synth optimism, euphoria, fantasy and romance. With life affirming lyrics and stellar production it lifts off at full tilt and takes us on a journey to the heart of 2010 and was described as “A heady delight” by People Magazine.
